The article discusses risk management tools and methods for IT project recruitment. The article describes the recruitment process, which consists of six main stages: defining candidate requirements, searching and selecting CVs, conducting interviews, assessing technical and communication skills, verifying references, and final selection of candidates. Particular attention is paid to the risks that arise at each stage of the recruitment process, as well as the methods used to manage them, including the use of psychometric tests, structured interviews, and verification of candidates’ experience. The article examines how effective risk management can help improve the quality of recruitment, reduce the likelihood of candidates failing to meet the requirements of an IT project and ensure the successful completion of the project. The findings may be helpful to HR professionals and managers in IT companies involved in recruiting staff for IT projects, as well as researchers in the field of human resource management. Risk management in the recruitment of personnel for IT projects is a crucial component for ensuring the successful implementation of projects and achieving their objectives. The use of tools such as automated testing systems, psychometric tests, multi-stage interviews, and reference checks allows you to reduce personnel risks associated with insufficient qualifications or inconsistencies between candidates and project requirements. The integration of these methods into the recruitment process ensures a high level of selection, adaptation of new employees, and a reduction of risks associated with incompatibility among team members or decreased productivity. Studying the impact of color theory on the interaction of team members and their professional potential opens up new opportunities for optimizing staff selection and increasing the effectiveness of IT projects.
