The article aims to substantiate the managerial relevance of blockchain technologies in improving interaction among participants in IT projects conducted in hybrid work environments. The topic is relevant because contemporary IT projects increasingly rely on distributed teams, external contractors, and digital communication channels. Hybrid work expands organizational flexibility but also creates risks, including fragmented communication, unclear accountability, information asymmetry, loss of agreements, and difficulties in evaluating individual contributions. Therefore, blockchain technologies are considered not only a technical solution but also a managerial tool that may strengthen transparency, trust, responsibility, and the sustainability of project interactions. The research is based on analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, and logical generalization. A systemic approach was used to reveal the links between hybrid work conditions, managerial problems of distributed cooperation, blockchain-enabled mechanisms, expected managerial effects, and sustainable organizational development. Conceptual modeling was used to develop a model explaining how blockchain technologies can support transparent and sustainable interaction among IT project participants. The results clarify the managerial situations in which blockchain technologies may be useful for IT projects. Their value lies in fixing key decisions, verifying actions, creating an immutable history of changes and agreements, supporting smart-contract-based procedures, and strengthening accountability. The article emphasizes that blockchain should be implemented selectively, where the need for data reliability, traceability, and trust justifies the solution’s complexity and cost. The proposed model connects managerial diagnostics, assessment of implementation feasibility, blockchain tools, managerial effects, project results, feedback, and the contribution to sustainable organizational development. The practical value of the article lies in the ability to use its conclusions to improve the management of hybrid IT teams, design transparent rules for cooperation, reduce coordination losses, clarify responsibility, and support a more objective evaluation of project results.
