The article is devoted to the study of the issues of formation and development of the economic potential of transport enterprises in the conditions of a regenerative economy. It is determined that the development of the economic potential of transport enterprises is a necessary condition for their long-term stable functioning and sustainable growth. The author has developed a methodological approach to determining the level of economic potential and proposed appropriate strategies for further development depending on the indicator. The strategy for the development of the economic potential of transport enterprises in the conditions of a regenerative economy is a holistic system of long-term management decisions and measures aimed at ensuring continuous reproduction, growth and effective use of the resource, production, innovation and organizational potential of the enterprise, taking into account the cyclical nature of economic processes, structural changes and the requirements of sustainable development. The proposed approach uses an integral indicator of economic potential (IEP) to provide a comprehensive, general assessment of the enterprise’s current state and development prospects. Its key advantage is the phased nature and logical sequence of strategic decision-making from diagnostics to control and adjustment. Determining the level of IER enables you to reasonably position the enterprise and choose an appropriate development strategy. It is worth noting that external environmental factors also play an important role in both the formation of the enterprise’s economic potential and its investment attractiveness. The author has developed three main options for the Strategy for the Development of the Economic Potential of a Transport Enterprise: high, average, and low. It has been proven that the Strategy of Innovation and Investment Growth promotes active development and strengthens market positions with high potential. The Strategy of Balanced Development and Optimization ensures stabilization of activities and efficient use of resources at an average level of potential. The Strategy of Recovery and Stabilization is critical for the enterprise to emerge from the crisis and forms the basis for further development.
