The article considers theoretical and methodological approaches to determining strategic directions for the development of the economic potential of agricultural enterprises in the context of the transformation of the national economy and the integration of Ukraine into the European economic space. The essence of economic potential is determined as a set of material, financial, labor, innovation and land resources that ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise in the agricultural market. The need for strategic management of potential development, which considers the dynamics of market changes, climate risks, digitalization of the agricultural sector and global requirements for the sustainability of production, is substantiated. A generalization of modern trends in the formation of strategies for the development of agricultural enterprises is carried out diversification of production, increasing energy efficiency, implementation of precision agriculture, optimization of logistics and the formation of partner clusters. The importance of innovative technologies and digital platforms in increasing the effectiveness of agricultural business is outlined. The main problems of increasing economic potential are considered – market instability, investment deficit, uneven access to resources, low level of innovative activity. Strategic directions for strengthening potential through the development of financial and credit instruments to support farmers, modernization of production facilities, greening of technologies, and expansion of foreign economic activity are proposed. It is determined that strategic directions for developing the economic potential of agricultural enterprises focus on innovation, effective management, labor motivation, investments in technology, as well as on expanding partnerships and infrastructure in the agricultural sector.
