Scientific research shows that Ukraine’s information technology sector is emerging as one of the most dynamic, with significant employment potential and job creation. The author has identified key trends in the development of the labor market that are transforming it nationally and shaping its potential for integration into the global space. The leading ones are digitalization and human capital. Among other trends, the following were noted: strengthening globalization processes, rapid growth in demand for highly qualified personnel, increasing importance of flexible employment formats, and increasing importance of interdisciplinary competencies of employees. The assessment and analysis of employment levels in the IT sector labor market showed a stable upward trend, with employment in 2024 at 364,000. The results of the analysis confirmed the stability and resilience of the domestic labor market in the IT sector to global and internal challenges and threats. The actual share of the sector in the employment structure by type of economic activity was determined, which increased from 1.8% to 4.9% over the period 2014-2024.
