The article explores the essence, significance, and mechanisms for implementing social responsibility of organic agribusiness entities in the context of sustainable development, competitiveness, and Ukraine’s European integration progress under the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction. The study aims to provide a scientific rationale for the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a key factor in harmonizing the economic, social, and environmental goals of organic agricultural enterprises. Attention is given to transforming CSR from a reputational policy tool into a system-forming mechanism for social cohesion, food security, and the adaptability of agribusiness to the crisis challenges posed by full-scale war. It is substantiated that organic production, due to its internal philosophy oriented toward sustainability and responsibility, has demonstrated a greater capacity for social mobilization, support for internally displaced persons, veterans, and vulnerable groups, and engagement in humanitarian initiatives. It is noted that social responsibility during the war and post-war periods encompasses both external dimensions (support for communities, the military, and infrastructure reconstruction) and internal ones (employee support, business adaptation, and job preservation). Special attention is paid to the organic sector’s contribution to food security through the development of local production and the application of resource-efficient technologies. Based on a systemic approach, the article proposes a structure for the social responsibility mechanism of organic agribusiness entities, which includes implementation factors (resource, organizational, and human support) and managerial factors (economic and social effectiveness, compliance with EU standards). It is demonstrated that the effective functioning of this mechanism contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises, their integration into the European market, and the socio-economic recovery of rural areas. The study concludes that social responsibility in organic agribusiness should be recognized as a strategic instrument for inclusive development in Ukraine’s post-war recovery. Further research should focus on the typology of CSR practices, their effectiveness, and the development of recommendations for institutional support for social responsibility in organic production.
