The article examines the main problems and prospects of sustainable development of the regions of Ukraine under conditions of socio-economic transformations, military challenges, and European integration processes. Sustainable regional development is considered as a complex process that involves the balanced interaction of economic, social, environmental, and institutional components aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and ensuring long-term economic stability. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of the concept of sustainable development and its role in shaping effective regional development policy. Based on the analysis of macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine for 2020–2024, the research identifies the key trends in the country’s socio-economic development, including changes in employment, investment activity, income levels, and inflationary processes. Attention is paid to the regional dimension of sustainable development, as significant disparities in the socio-economic development of territories remain one of the most important challenges for the national economy. The analysis of regional indicators demonstrates considerable differences in the level of economic activity, infrastructure development, and social welfare across different regions of Ukraine. The research highlights that the consequences of the full-scale war have intensified regional imbalances, negatively affected economic activity, and caused infrastructure destruction and large-scale population migration. These factors have significantly complicated the achievement of sustainable development goals at both national and regional levels. At the same time, the study emphasizes the growing importance of digitalization, innovation development, and infrastructure modernization as key drivers of sustainable regional growth. Special attention is paid to the role of marketing instruments of territorial development, which contribute to improving the investment attractiveness of regions, strengthening their competitive positions, and promo-ting regional economic potential. The article summarizes the main challenges that hinder the achievement of sustainable development goals in Ukraine and outlines possible directions for overcoming them. It is argued that ensuring sustainable development of Ukrainian regions requires the implementation of comprehensive regional policy measures aimed at stimulating economic growth, developing human capital, supporting innovation, expanding digital infrastructure, and strengthening the integration of Ukraine into the European economic space.
