The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems of resource provision for the technological development of enterprises in the manufacturing sector of the Ukrainian economy considering the technological transition of “Industry 4.0”. Two technological transition methods for domestic producers are considered. The first is through the implementation of innovative and technological projects that, in their technological part, already use artificial intelligence to perform routine tasks in an algorithmic mode. It is advisable to choose it for large enterprises that can accumulate sufficient investment resources to implement such projects. The second is information and technological re-equipment of existing business processes, which are most suitable for small and medium-sized businesses. The management of these processes should be carried out, considering the preservation of an acceptable level of economic security for the enterprise. It is noted that this level is set by planned economic indicators of activity in the context of the goals of the chosen strategy. The author’s position is expressed that decision-making on the selection of projects for innovative and technological development of production systems of enterprises should be based on the results of technological audit and use the possibilities of technological integration within the value chains. The specifics of such an audit for the technological component of operations in current business processes are characterized, and the expediency of covering all participants in the value chain is emphasized. The task of information support for the management system of enterprises integrated into this chain is shown. The results of the technological audit will increase the economic justification of the choice of information technologies to increase the productivity and flexibility of the technological component of the production system of enterprises – participants in the integration formation. Thus, it is possible to balance their resource needs and carry out innovative and technological renewal within the parameters of an acceptable level of economic security.
