Abstract
The article considers the modern direction of management decision-making – ensuring economic security. The current situation has radically changed the managers’ approach to this issue, and on the basis of developed scientific and informational sources, we outline the shift of the discussion from the discussion of the feasibility of ensuring economic security to specific decisions on its provision. The main purpose of this research is to consider economic security at various institutional levels, to determine the main factors of its formation and to study the impact on this process of innovative development. It has been established that economic security is the key to long-term development and security, and therefore its support and formation is an urgent task for research. It is considered at different levels of management: state, regional and enterprise level. The main signs of economic security of the enterprise are determined: economic Innovations in the system of strategic management of the security of the national economy in conditions of risks and uncertainties of globalization essence of the economic security of the region was studied and it was stated that it is not possible to standardize the approach to the formation of the economic security of the regions, because each of them is unique and requires an individual approach in view of the geographical location, specialization, resource potential and economic opportunities. The comparison of the main elements of the economic security in the country and regions is presented in the following areas: economic independence/autonomy, sustainability and stability of the national economy, the ability for self-development and progress. The essence of innovative activity is considered, taking into account the approved definitions in the regulatory and legislative acts of Ukraine. It was determined that it is impossible to activate innovative development without studying the foreign experience of innovative activity, namely the analysis of models of innovative development of the economy of the leading countries in the world, and based on the study of this direction, tools for activating innovative development in foreign countries were systematized. Prospects for further scientific research, in particular, innovative development as the basis of the formation of economic security, and the mutual influence on the formation of economic security of three levels: the state, regions, business structures requires further research, were identified.
