In the current conditions of digitalization of the agricultural sector, the issue of protecting information resources is becoming critically important for ensuring the stable functioning of enterprises and their competitiveness. The article examines the main aspects of information security as an element of organizational and legal protection, particularly implementing legal, technical, and managerial mechanisms. Agricultural business, an important component of the economy, depends on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The challenges of the modern information environment, such as cyberattacks, unauthorized access to data, and leaks of commercial information, force enterprises to implement comprehensive protection systems. The paper focuses on Ukraine’s regulatory and legal framework that regulates information security, including cybersecurity and personal data protection laws. Implementing modern technologies, such as information security management systems (ISMS), cryptographic solutions, information environment monitoring tools, and personnel training programs, is important in ensuring information security. The article emphasizes that information security is not only a technical aspect but also an organizational task that requires the active participation of enterprise management and the development of internal policies. Particular attention is paid to the risks of loss of commercial information and their impact on the enterprise’s reputation, financial stability, and partnership relations. Recommendations are proposed for implementing integrated risk management systems that combine legal, technical, and organizational approaches. Information security plays a crucial role in organizational and legal protection in agricultural business. Agriculture is no exception in an era when digital transformation is changing industry. Integrating technologies into agricultural practices, such as precision agriculture, data analytics, and supply chain management, has increased efficiency and productivity. However, this dependence on digital tools also exposes agricultural enterprises to many cybersecurity threats, making reliable information security measures extremely important.
