The article is devoted to the study of the impact of human capital on the economic growth of livestock production enterprises. It has been proved that in the modern world, where innovations and knowledge determine economic dynamics, human capital is not just an important factor but also a decisive factor in economic growth, especially for livestock production enterprises. This industry, which was historically associated with physical labor, is today transforming into a knowledge-intensive and high-tech sphere, where success directly depends on personnel’s intellectual potential and qualifications. It is established that the key role of human capital in livestock production is due to the versatility of modern production. This includes not only deep zootechnical and veterinary knowledge necessary for caring for animals and ensuring proper conditions for their maintenance but also the ability to work with high-tech equipment that automates the processes of feeding, milking, and monitoring. Qualified specialists can effectively use existing technologies, generate new ideas, and implement innovations in breeding, feeding, and disease prevention, directly affecting productivity, product quality, and cost reduction. It has been determined that investments in human capital are not expenses but strategic investments that form long-term competitiveness. They include systematic and advanced training, development of digital competencies, creation of motivational programs, and provision of proper working conditions. Only enterprises that realize the value of their employees as carriers of knowledge and innovations can effectively adapt to changing market conditions to meet consumers’ growing demands for product quality and safety and ensure stable and sustainable economic growth. Therefore, a person with his knowledge, skills, and ability to innovate is the driving force of progress in animal husbandry, transforming it from a traditional agricultural sector into an advanced, highly productive, and profitable sector of the economy.
