The purpose of the article is to economically assess the potential for commercialization of the author’s automated tire monitoring and inflation system (ATMS) by analyzing external factors and internal determinants of technology implementation. The evolution of TPMS and ATIS class systems within intelligent transport systems is conceptualized. Using PEST analysis, key external drivers of implementation development in Ukraine are identified, in particular, European integration imperatives (GSR II, Euro 7 regulations), the objective need of carriers to optimize costs, and the development of cloud telematics. Based on the SWOT matrix, the balance of power and innovative potential of ATMS are assessed, with key advantages including autonomy, fuel efficiency, and increased tire life. A cross-matrix of strategic actions is formed as an applied roadmap for the commercialization of the system, which involves implementing flexible financial models to overcome market pressure from transnational competitors. Recommendations have been formulated for four profile groups of stakeholders:
– motor transport companies: prioritize equipping mainline and quarry transport with the proposed system and integrating pressure telemetry to transition to wheel maintenance based on the actual condition;
– logistics operators: integrate data flows with TMS platforms for end-to-end risk control and use the decarbonization effect for ESG validation;
– vehicle manufacturers: assess the feasibility of conveyor-mounted installation of systems on domestic trailer/special equipment to comply with the GSR II regulations and develop open application programming interfaces;
– government and regulatory bodies: accelerate the harmonization of national legislation with the GSR II regulations and provide for the integration of ITS solutions into state infrastructure digitalization programs.
Prospects for further exploration include the decomposition of economic effects from the implementation of the ASMNSH, as well as the development of applied tools for its integration into the sustainable development strategies (ESG) of industrial and mining enterprises.
