The research provides a critical analysis of the primary drivers of competitiveness for agro-industrial enterprises, examined alongside their innovative capacity. It is demonstrated that the sector’s competitive standing depends on the alignment of its output with market requirements, particularly amid increasing product substitution. Furthermore, the findings suggest that the agricultural industry’s progression is inextricably linked to the integration of innovations as a strategic response to market pressures. Global competition, which is constantly intensifying, together with strict product requirements and unstable prices, makes the innovative path the only way to ensure the sustainable viability of agricultural enterprises. It is substantiated that the formation of competitive advantages of agricultural enterprises occurs under the influence of a complex of economic, technological, market, and organizational factors. Strengthening the financial stability of agricultural enterprises is achieved by optimizing costs, increasing personnel efficiency, and attracting investment capital. In parallel, technological modernization through digitalization and advanced agrotechnical solutions becomes the foundation for improving product quality characteristics. Logistical development, market flexibility, and compliance with global standards are essential for successful international integration. Evidence shows that innovative potential is a cornerstone of the long-term evolution of agro-enterprises. By fostering innovation, these entities can better adapt to market volatility, enhance resource efficiency, and achieve consistent, eco-responsible production increases. Thanks to the transition to innovative management models, agricultural enterprises not only get ahead of their competitors but also lay the foundation for the country’s global leadership in agriculture. In summary, the strategic sustainability of agricultural enterprises is predicated on a holistic synergy of financial performance, technological advancement, and the optimization of management processes. The integrated interaction of these elements not only unlocks innovative potential but also establishes resilient competitive advantages capable of navigating future market challenges.
