The article presents a comprehensive analysis of modern content marketing strategies as a key element of digital marketing communications. It explores the evolution of content marketing and its fundamental characteristics, including value orientation, long-term nature, client-centricity, multi-format approach, measurability, and adaptability. The paper examines the main types of content marketing strategies, including SEO-oriented strategy, lead generation strategy, brand building strategy, omnichannel strategy, user-generated content strategy, and product strategy. For each type of strategy, the main objective, key performance metrics, optimal content formats, distribution channels, timeframes for achieving results, advantages, disadvantages, and industries for most effective application are defined. The study analyzes in detail five interconnected stages of content marketing strategy formation: analytical stage, strategic planning, operational planning, implementation and production, measurement and optimization. The cyclical nature of the strategy formation process with continuous improvement based on feedback is demonstrated. Special attention is paid to the content marketing strategy matrix, which allows selecting the optimal approach depending on the business development stage, available budget, competitive position, and target audience characteristics. Based on the analysis, practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of content marketing strategies are formulated, including integration with business goals, strategy documentation, and regular content auditing. The research results confirm that a strategic approach to content marketing is a necessary condition for effective interaction with the target audience and achieving business goals in conditions of information overload and high competition for consumer attention.
