The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the investment-attractiveness potential of enterprises in Ukraine’s regions and its role in shaping strategies to enhance competitiveness and restore the national economy amid armed conflict and transformational processes. Investment attractiveness determines an enterprise’s ability to attract capital, implement innovations, and develop production and social infrastructure, which are key factors in sustainable economic growth. The study analyzes current scientific approaches to assessing investment potential, revealing limited empirical validation and the need for comprehensive regional-level research. Attention is given to Ukraine’s agro-industrial sector, which, despite significant losses caused by infrastructure destruction, port blockades, and reduced production, retains the potential for adaptation and stability. Statistical analysis revealed regional imbalances in capital investment, enabling classification of regions by investment activity and identification of priority areas for support. The main factors shaping investment attractiveness were identified: stable demand for products, government support, concentration of innovative solutions, export potential, as well as risks – natural and climatic, technological, economic, and financial. Based on this analysis, strategic directions to enhance investment attractiveness are proposed: stimulating enterprises’ innovation activity, developing regional infrastructure, optimizing state investment support policies, forming cluster associations, and using rating and analytical tools to monitor enterprise potential. Implementing these strategies will help create a domestic investment cycle, increase the resilience and competitiveness of the agro-industrial sector, restore Ukraine’s economy, and integrate it into the European and global economic space.
