У статті було узагальнено теоретико-методологічні засади довгострокового економічного зростання. Розглянуто п’ять основних підходів до аналізу та інтерпретації проблем тривалого економічного зростання та якісних системних змін, а саме неокласична теорія зростання, нова теорія зростання, теорія реального бізнес-циклу, нова інституційна економіка, теорія сталого розвитку. За результатами аналізу розкрито зміст теорій та виділено ознаки та основні фактори зростання. Подальший науковий пошук дозволив сформувати перелік методів інтерпретації тривалого зростання, до яких було віднесено концепції егалітарного розвитку, демократичного розвитку, інноваційного розвитку, цифрових трансформацій, зеленої економіки, економіки замкнутого циклу та інклюзивного розвитку. За результатами сутнісного аналізу теорій та методів було відбудовано логіку розвитку теоретичного базису та систематизовано базові концепти. Було з’ясовано, що відповідно до сучасних підходів актуалізується активна роль держави та необхідність зміцнення інституційних засад економічної діяльності як основи для забезпечення ефективності фінансової системи і вільної конкуренції та створення автономних стимулюючих механізмів для чіткого дотримання інституційного порядку всіма суб’єктами економічних відносин. Саме на таких засадах розвиваються концепції сталості, методологічний базис яких диференціюється залежно від фокусу. Зміст основних теоретичних і методологічних концепцій (підходів) довгострокового економічного зростання та системних перетворень має перспективне значення і завдяки баченню, розрахованому на майбутнє, стає можливим глибше пізнання потенційних можливостей і вірогідних загроз економічного розвитку на макро-, мезо- та мікрорівнях.
