У статті предметом дослідження слугують аспекти формування та використання сучасних засобів розвитку закладів вищої освіти і посилення мотивації праці їх персоналу. Доведено, що мотивація праці у суб’єктах господарювання, які надають освітні послуги, однією з особливостей яких є прямий безпосередній контакт зі споживачем послуги, відіграє вирішальне значення в сенсі ефективності господарювання, зміцнення конкурентоспроможності послуг і закладу освіти на загал, розвитку, а також реалізації критично важливих соціальних функцій освітніх установ. Відтак, метою дослідження визначено обґрунтування сукупності сучасних засобів розвитку та посилення мотивації праці персоналу закладів вищої освіти з урахуванням специфіки вітчизняних реалій. У частині рекомендацій з розвитку вітчизняних закладів вищої освіти запропоновано використовувати більш фахово-професійний підхід, який в тому числі стосується якнайширшого використання практик інституційно-колективного партнерства. Відносно посилення мотивації праці персоналу закладів вищої освіти запропоновано інструментарій матеріального й нематеріального характеру.
