The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of the socio-economic landscape of Ukraine under the influence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the study is to assess the macroeconomic consequences quantitatively, and analyze demographic changes (migration processes), sectoral shifts in the economy (dynamics of industry and agriculture), and labor market dynamics (unemployment rate and employment expectations of workers). Based on the statistical data analysis, the author establishes a significant negative impact of the full-scale invasion on all key areas of socio-economic development of Ukraine, including GDP decline, large-scale forced migration, multidirectional dynamics of economic sectors, and a sharp increase in unemployment. The research results confirm the deep and systemic nature of the destructive changes caused by armed aggression. The prospects for further scientific research aimed at an in-depth analysis of long-term consequences, regional specificities, the development of recovery and reintegration strategies, and the study of socio-psychological aspects and institutional changes, are identified. Thus, a quantitative analysis of the consequences of the war showed a significant drop in gross domestic product in 2022. At the same time, intensive migration processes, both internal and external, have formed a complex demographic picture characterized by the presence of millions of refugees and internally displaced persons with their uneven territorial distribution. A sectoral analysis of the dynamics of industrial and agricultural production indices revealed varying degrees of vulnerability of economic sectors to military actions. The labor market has suffered a significant negative impact with a significant decrease in the optimism of employed workers. In summary, the study confirms the deep and systemic nature of the effect of armed aggression on the socio-economic landscape of Ukraine, which led to significant losses and deformations in all major areas of its functioning.
