The article examines strategic planning as a tool for managing an enterprise’s economic behavior in the dynamic development of a market economy and the high uncertainty of the external environment. The relevance of using strategic planning to increase the competitiveness of enterprises, ensure their stability, and adapt to changing market conditions is determined. In the research process, modern theoretical approaches to strategic planning are analyzed. Factors influencing the economic behavior of an enterprise are systematized, among which the role of the external environment (economic, political, social factors) and internal resources of the enterprise (organizational structure, corporate culture, human resources) are highlighted. The key stages of the strategic planning process are determined: mission formation, analysis of the internal and external environment, strategy development, economic justification, implementation, and control over the achievement of the set goals. The importance of the long-term orientation of strategic planning, a systematic approach to making management decisions, innovative orientation, and involvement of stakeholders is substantiated. Measures for effectively implementing enterprise strategies are proposed, including adapting the organizational structure, personnel development, change, and risk management. In addition, the article builds a structural and logical scheme of strategic planning as a tool for managing the economic behavior of an enterprise, which reflects the sequence of planning stages, the relationship between key elements of the process, and mechanisms for implementing the strategy. This scheme allows you to visualize the logic of forming and implementing strategic decisions, ensuring consistency of actions at all levels of management. As a result of the study, it was concluded that strategic planning is a key tool for managing the economic behavior of an enterprise, which allows for the efficient use of resources, increasing competitiveness, and ensuring long-term sustainable development.
