Abstract

The article examines the formation of a mechanism for enhancing the social responsibility of agricultural businesses.

It is established that the fundamental basis for the formation of a fundamentally new mechanism for activating social responsibility of agricultural businesses should be the concept of social competitiveness, which requires the transformation of socio-economic ties, the formation of integration development strategy, and its content is a gradual transition from individual social obligations. commitment to systemic social investment and obtaining on this basis not only economic benefits (maximizing profits or meeting the financial interests of business owners), but also increasing the level of competitiveness of sectors, territories, industries, providing not only economic but also social protection economic entities and the general community. The expediency of introduction of organizational and economic mechanism of social responsibility of agrarian business subjects based on the concept of formalization of influence of a condition and dynamics of social components of economic potential of the specified subjects of economic relations on their competitiveness, economic efficiency of basic activity and stability of economic development is substantiated. Summarizing the formation of organizational and economic mechanism of social responsibility of agribusiness on the principles of polystructurality, complementarity, institutional certainty, and convergent combination of areas of economic effects of socially responsible initiatives, it can be argued that its practical implementation in real agricultural enterprises contributes to better agricultural production. performance indicators of agricultural enterprises in the process of transformation of socio-economic relations of the industry. In other words, we consider it appropriate to note that the emphasis in cooperation with business is gradually shifting towards voluntary self-regulation, and business structures in the agricultural sector in the context of increasing competitiveness are gradually moving from non-systemic forced charity to more complex, strategic forms of interaction with public and government.
